WXGA Projector Choices
XGA or extended graphics array developed by IBM is a display standard used in computer displays. It has something to do with pixels display resolution. WXGA or wide XGA is a widened version of the XGA. WXGA is commonly used in low end LCD televisions and computer monitors for widescreen presentation. It refers to a resolution of 1280×800 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. This resolution is popular for most laptops with 14″ or 15″ screens.
WXGA technology is also commonly applied to projectors. You will find different brands of WXGA projectors in the market. Sanyo has the PLC-WTC500L LCD. It offers WXGA resolution with a brightness of 5000 lumen. Epson has its own line which includes the Epson BrightLink 450Wi LCD Projector. This high-performance projector + pen combination integrates interactive functionality in one machine without the constraints or expense of an interactive whiteboard.
