Starting on Baby Foods
I exclusively breastfed my son for the first half year of his life. I believe that it is very important for his formative years that he get the best nutrition I can give him. When he turned six months, I started him on solid foods by using our blender to puree vegetables like carrots and potatoes. I introduced one food at a time to ensure that he doesn’t have any allergies to it.
At seven months, I also started him on different fruits. My mom says it is wise to start a child with veggies instead of the sweetness of fruits so he won’t learn to refuse the veggies. She’s right. My son now eats happily anything I give him. I’m glad he’s growing up to be a healthy kid.
