As a new mother I take lots of photos of my firstborn. My brother who has two kids of his own lent me his digital SLR camera at first so I could take photos of my son’s milestones. I found it a bit bulky. It also took long to open and it took a while before I could take a photo. I decided to get a point and shoot digital camera so I could easily capture those precious moments.
A point and shoot camera makes it easier for me to take plenty of photos. When is see my baby starting to get up or crawl, I can easily get the camera and literally point and shoot. My new camera is also smaller so I can easily place it inside my baby’s crib and take his photo without distracting him. A pint and shoot digital camera is also much cheaper. You can choose models that have several advanced features should you want more from your camera.

Computer games were at its infancy when I was growing up. I even had a couple of computer pocket games that I bring around everywhere. The graphic were bad and color was just black. Now, games are so realistic and violent. Some years ago, my brother got a Playstation. We would play it until our eyes and hands became sore. Soon our Playstation started malfunctioning because of overuse. We often did Playstation 2 repair on our own.
The most common malfunction is the error messages. Since my brother loves to tinker with stuff, he decided to open it up on his own. His favorite Playstation 2 repair is to blow really hard on the unit. By doing so he hopes to loosen up the dust inside. Believe it or not, it often works. This technique also works for any toy or gadget that’s electrical. If it still doesn’t work, he uses a Q-tip with alcohol and cleans the insides. More often, the malfunction is because of dust.

We live in the age of internet, emails and smart phones. Despite our to management’s goal for us to consume less paper and take advantage of technology, we still need paper. Our copier is still being used a lot to make copies of documents and memos to be distributed to different offices. This probably because not all offices and suppliers we work with have the same technology as we do. Thankfully our office’s two Konica Minolta copiers are up to the task.
When we have to send memos to all our branches, we learn that the supervisors don’t get to discuss the memo with their staff if it is just in the computer. Since they do not have a printer in their retail store, giving them printed memo on paper is still the most effective. They can post this memo in the small office in their stores so that they are reminded of the changes in price of our products and of our new promotions. Our Konica Minolta copiers produce at least a hundred copies of memos every week. Sometimes while a meeting is ongoing, we reach certain agreements, someone types the memo and the copies are ready and printed as soon as the meeting ends.

The great thing about our country is that everyone has a chance to make something of themselves. Even people who are physically challenged can often live a normal life. As long as their minds are intact, they can live a normal life. I’ve seen people in a mobility scooter do the same things as normal people. They barely need any assistance from other people.
A mobility scooter is like a motorized wheelchair. It allows physically challenged people to be independent. I’ve seen handicapped people go to the grocery and do their shopping. The scooters I’ve seen have a compartment where they can store and carry their groceries. What’s more, since a mobility scooter is electric, it doesn’t emit any fumes. It can be ridden indoors.

People often call me an analyst. I analyze everything before I make a decision. I researched well before buying a digital camera. I asked around and compared specs and even did test shots before I decided on what brand to get. After weeks of research I made my choice; I got myself a Canon PowerShot.
Like most new moms, I can’t stop taking photos of my baby’s milestones. My Canon PowerShot has been with me wherever. I take it to the park, to the mall, to the doctor’s office and even in the supermarket. Wherever my son goes, his photographer mom follows him with a camera. The photos of the PowerShot are super clear. It is also very easy to operate. I can easily turn it on when I see my son struggling to take his first steps. It is also very portable and has a whole lot of automatic settings which makes it so convenient.

It is expected that any electrical appliance will eventually break down after years of use. This is true whether it is a TV, stereo, fridge and other gadgets. When our 5-year old TV conked out, I simply took it to an authorized Sharp TV repair center to have it fixed. I was able to bring it home again that same day.
The technician gave me several tips on how to prolong the life of a TV and I’m sharing them with you:
~Do not turn the TV on and off in rapid cycles. If you turn on a TV by accident, give it some 15 minutes to warm up before turning it off.
~Also remember that it’s better to keep the TV on for 5 hours straight than watching a one hour program and turning it off only to turn it back on again half an hour later.
~Keep your TV always clean and dust free, wipe down its back once a month with a damp cloth
~Use a surge protector to protect your TV against sudden spikes in voltage

My husband and I vowed not to give my son video games. Unfortunately his cousins and his playmates let him play with their Xbox. After a year of good grades we decided to give in to his request and finally got him his own Xbox 360. Last Christmas we gave him his Xbox 360 kit. He asked us for an Xbox 360 controller faceplate soon after.
My husband and I were stumped. What was an Xbox 360 controller faceplate. Our six year old then proceeded to explain to us that Xbox 360 controllers apparently could be changed. There were alternatives to the plain beige or white controller. Just like there were colored laptops and cellular phones, there were controller faceplates as well.

The rapid advances in technology have made it possible for high-end gadgets to be more affordable to just about everyone. Prices have come down so dramatically that buying a good 50 LCD TV is no longer unattainable for most people. This bigger size not only provides great pictures, it also comes with more features such as HD programming that provide excellent video and audio experiences.
In past years, a good 50 LCD TV cost a lot of money but only provided 720p resolution. Today, people can buy feature-rich 50 inch televisions with 1080p resolution which gives more value for money. These electronic equipment are also more energy efficient than the old CRT TV models. Read reviews about different brands to know what other television buyers have to say before choosing the best model that’s right for your needs and will fit your budget.
