I first got into sewing after visiting a friend and was inspired with the items she had done by herself. I was in awe when I saw her curtains and pillowcases, along with the items she uses to decorate her entire space. I never really saw her as someone who would be that creative, since she even hated these things when we were in our teens.

Apparently her boredom at home had allowed her to discover things she never thought she was able to do. This got me to start on the hobby and even got a 20 stitch sewing machine to try it out for myself. I was excited with the tons of ideas going through my mind, since I would also want my home to look as cozy and delightful as hers. Now we exchange tips and projects because we have found something common we can talk about once again.
